CIC Select, a Web site
providing insurance capacity and services to the Society of
Certified Insurance Counselors (SCIC, Austin) has been created
through a partnership between AIG (New York), e-insurance exchange
MarketScout (Dallas) and The National Alliance for Insurance
Education and Research, of which SCIC is a member organization.
AIG's member companies will provide capacity for insuring various
businesses represented by certified insurance counselors (CICs);
the carrier has assigned a dedicated team of underwriters to
CIC Select. MarketScout will serve as the appointed agency responsible
for certain underwriting and administration functions within
